The grand am is such a neat daily driver! They look cool and aggressive, although I am unsure if I am willing to put anymore money in to it. I have lusted over the Milzy head and cam packages, and also some of the super charged GAGT's on here, but... I think if I want to put money in anything it will be the trans am. I really find the Grand am reasonably un sluggish and with the right touches they can look pretty cool, which is why I could not leave mine stock. I like to consider the grand am my budget G8! This is my 4th grand am, so I am familiar with them and must like them a decent bit. There are some pics on this site somewhere of my other 05 GAGT I had and sold. This one is a southern GAGT1 and much cleaner. I purchased the Trans AM about 6 months ago after totalling my C5. Shortly after I found out that I was a father to be of a baby boy and figured another 2 seater vette was not on the cards if I want my baby boy to ride with me, so I also sold my C4 grand sport clone to purchase the Trans Am. The TA seemed to be the reasonable choice, since I don't see them depreciating in value. I really haven't done anything to modify it. After driving it home from purchasing it I took it off the road and the milage currently sits at 62,000. The Trans Am is a 2002 / Ram Air / 6 speed / ws6 / convertible. As you can see I got every option available just about, in hopes of reselling this thing in about 16 years to get another vette. In all reality it's very dissapointing going from a modded C5 to a stock F-body. It's actually depressing! I think the TA looks really cool, but overall package does not compare to the C5.
