8/1/11—LAKE ARROWHEAD (LA) Vandalism 27000 block of Matterhorn Drive-Victim is using his cousin’s vehicle. While the vehicle was parked in front of his residence, a large rock was thrown into the windshield, which was broken. Unknown who threw the rock. The estimated damage is $300, Reporting party will pay for the damage.
RUNNING SPRINGS (RS) Cruelty to Animal 31000 block of Encina Way-On Wednesday evening an unknown subject shot the reporting party’s dog with a pellet gun. RP took the dog to the vet and has the pellet, which had to be surgically removed.
GREEN VALLEY LAKE (GVL) Felony Spousal Abuse 33000 block of Angeles Drive-Woman arrested and booked at Central Detention Center. She got into an argument with her husband over her alcoholism. When he tried to leave the residence she pushed him from behind, into a wooden closet door. When he tried to break his fall, he received several bleeding cuts to both hands.
8/2/11 LA Petty Theft 28000 Palisades Drive-Unknown suspects entered work site and cut open a metal box. They took a Dewalt power planer, a 16-inch Makita beam saw, a Makita compressor, a Milwaukee sawzall, two Skill saws, a Makita screw gun, a framing gun and a Makita half-inch drill. All the tools should have the victim’s name in Sharpie and possibly a shot of yellow spray paint.
LA Petty Theft 300 block of Hemlock Drive-Unknown suspects rummaged through vehicles and took a GPS, two Phillips monitors and miscellaneous CDs. Occurred between 1 and 11 a.m.
BLUE JAY (BJ) Identity Theft 100 block of Old Toll Road-Unknown suspect(s) leased equipment under reporting party’s identity with false account. The company then sought out the active account with RP’s information and charged it. Occurred since November 2010. Charges total about $450.
LA Burglary 100 block of Shorewood Drive-Between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. suspect(s) entered reporting party’s home. No signs of forced entry. RP had left several doors unlocked and alarm not activated. RP returned home and noticed his guitar, Canon digital camera and Dell laptop had been taken. Area check conducted for possible witnesses, No suspect leads.
TWIN PEAKS (TP) Drunk in Public 200 block of La Casita Drive-Woman was observed sitting in front of a residence, crying. She had a strong odor of alcohol. She was wearing only a purple top. She first told deputies she lived there and that her husband locked her out. It was later found she did not know where she was and that she didn’t know who lived there. Deputy spoke to her husband and was told they’d had an argument and she left very drunk. She was arrested for being drunk in public and transported to Central Detention Center. When asked why she did not have pants on, she said she was a nudist.
